Signing Up

There are two ways to create a Genesis Writer account: email and password, or social login. Both are free and take less than a minute.

Email & Password

  1. Visit genesiswriter.ai/login and click Sign Up.
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  3. Click Create Account.
  4. Check your inbox for a verification email (see below).

Social Login

You can also sign up with your existing Google account. Just click the Google button on the login page and authorize Genesis Writer. Your account will be created automatically — no password required.

Tip
Google login is the fastest way to get started. You can be writing in under 30 seconds.

Sign up with email or Google

Email Verification

If you signed up with email and password, you'll receive a verification email within a few minutes. Click the link in the email to verify your address. You can start using Genesis Writer immediately, but some features require a verified email.

Didn't receive the email? Check your spam folder first. If it's not there, you can request a new verification email from your account settings.

Linking Accounts

If you signed up with email and later want to use Google login (or vice versa), you can link multiple authentication providers to the same account. Head to Settings → Account to manage your linked providers.

Warning
If you try to sign in with a social provider that uses the same email as an existing email/password account, you'll be asked to link the accounts. This is a security measure — it prevents someone from accessing your account through a different provider.

Your Free Plan

Every new account starts on the Free Free plan. Here's what you get:

  • 25,000 Genesis Tokens — enough for several AI generations to explore the platform.
  • 3 projects — create up to three novels or story collections.
  • 50 MB storage — for portraits, images, and exported files.
  • 6 AI models — GPT-5.4 Nano, GPT-5 Mini, Claude 4.5 Haiku, Gemini 2.5 Flash Lite, Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite, and DeepSeek V4 Flash.
Tip
Free-plan tokens are a one-time allotment — they don't reset monthly. When you're ready for more, check out our subscription plans.
