Find plugins in the marketplace or share your own creations.

Overview
The Plugin Marketplace is where you find custom AI plugins beyond the built-in plugins. Add one with a single click and use it alongside the built-in tools to transform your prose.
If you've created a custom plugin that you think other writers would find useful, you can publish it to the marketplace for them to use.
Browsing Plugins
Open the Marketplace from the header and pick Plugins, or go straight to /plugins. You'll see a grid of plugin cards, with tabs, search, and category filters at the top.
Use the search bar to find plugins by name or keyword, and the category filters to narrow results to one type of tool.
Plugin Categories
Every plugin belongs to one of these categories:

| Editing & Revision | Copy editing, proofreading, grammar fixes, and prose polish. |
| Scene Enhancement | Sensory details, atmosphere, tension, imagery, and show-vs-tell improvements. |
| Worldbuilding | Setting details, world consistency, history, and environmental description. |
| Analysis & Feedback | Structural review, chapter-level critique, and targeted feedback on tone, pacing, and dialogue. |
| Marketing | Blurbs, query letters, synopses, and promotional copy. |
| Genre-Specific | Transformations tailored to specific genres and their conventions. |
| Multi-Lingual | Translation, bilingual writing support, and cross-language transformations. |
Plugin Cards
Each plugin in the marketplace is displayed as a card showing key information at a glance:
- Name — the plugin's title.
- Tagline — a short description of what it does.
- Icon — a visual identifier for the plugin.
- Category — which category it belongs to.
- Creator — who built the plugin. Plugins made by Genesis Writer carry an Official badge.
- Heart — saves the plugin to your Liked tab.
Cards don't show use counts, like counts, or ratings. Click any card to open the plugin's detail sheet, where you can read the full description, see how it works, and add it.
Checking & Adding Plugins
Before you add a plugin, open its detail sheet and read How it works. If the creator made the prompts visible, you can read the exact system and user prompts the plugin runs.
When you're ready, click Add. The plugin then appears with your selection tools alongside the built-in plugins, ready to use in any project. To remove it, hover its Added button and click Remove.
Publishing Your Plugins
To publish a plugin to the marketplace, you need a Basic+ plan. When creating a plugin, set the visibility to Public in the Publish step.
Before publishing, make sure your plugin:
- Has a clear, descriptive name and tagline so writers know what it does.
- Includes a detailed description explaining when and how to use it.
- Has been tested on representative text samples.
- Is assigned to the correct category so it appears in the right filters.
Creator Attribution
Every published plugin displays creator attribution. Your display name is shown on the plugin card and detail sheet, so other writers know who built the tool they're using.
This attribution is automatic and cannot be removed.
Tabs & Discovery
The Plugins page has five tabs:
- Featured — plugins picked by the Genesis Writer team.
- Newest — the most recently published plugins first.
- Liked — plugins you've marked with the heart.
- Added — plugins you've added.
- Yours — plugins you created, published or private.
Combine the tabs with category filters and search to find exactly what you need. The Plugins page is one section of the wider Genesis Writer Marketplace, which also has writing styles and beta readers.
